Those sworn in included the new Governor of Madinah, Prince Salman bin Sultan, and Deputy Governors for the provinces of Makkah, the Eastern Province, Tabuk, Asir, and Al-Jawf.
They pledged allegiance to their religion, king, and country, vowing to uphold state secrets and govern with honesty and integrity.
