Cairo - Saudi Arabia's foreign minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, arrived in Cairo on March 23, 2025, to chair a meeting of the Ministerial Committee on Gaza.
This meeting has been convened in response to directives from the Extraordinary Joint Arab and Islamic Summit, which addressed the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting aims to evaluate the latest developments in the region amid ongoing tensions stemming from the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Notably, Kaya Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, is also expected to attend the discussions.
The involvement of both Arab and European representatives underscores the international dimension of the response to the crisis in Gaza.
