Princess Lamia bint Majed Al-Saud Honored for Four Years of Cooperation with UN-Habitat
Princess Lamia bint Majed Al-Saud, a goodwill ambassador for the Arab region of the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), has been honored for her four years of cooperation with UN-Habitat.
The princess has advocated for key urban areas and mobilized resources for important projects in the region through AlWaleed Philanthropies.
She has supported the UN-Habitat's efforts to address issues around urbanization and its implications on societies, economies and environments.
The UN-Habitat Assembly, the UN's highest-level legislative body on sustainable urbanization and human settlements, has commemorated four years of cooperation with the princess.
