HRC Chief Dr. Hala Emphasizes Human-Centric Focus of Saudi Vision 2030
Dr. Hala Al-Tuwaijri, President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission, underlined the emphasis on human rights in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 during a press event in Cairo. The address was given in conjunction with the Arab Human Rights Committee's final meeting at the Arab League headquarters, attended also by the committee Chairman, Jaber Al-Marri.
The committee's 22nd session reviewed Saudi Arabia's first report detailing efforts to honor human rights in line with the Arab Human Rights Charter. Dr. Hala highlighted Saudi Arabia's progress in sectors such as economy, culture, entertainment, sports, and justice, stressing that all human rights are interconnected and equally important.
Al-Marri praised Saudi Arabia's comprehensive human rights report, recognizing the country's advancements in this area. He credited the political leadership's focus on human rights, which is particularly illustrated in the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, designed to strengthen the nation's human rights infrastructure.
