Prayer of Taraweeh and Tahajjud on the First Night of the Last Ten Days at the Grand Mosque
Crowds of worshipers performed the Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers at the Grand Mosque on the first night of the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan this year.
"Waas" lens captured the flow of worshipers since morning in the corridors, courtyards, and the Mataf area, and along the roads leading to the Grand Mosque, recording scenes of faith as pilgrims, worshippers, Quran reciters, and seekers of God's remembrance lived in tranquility, peace, humility, and reverence amid an integrated system of services provided by the wise government. Worshipers gathered to pray in an atmosphere filled with security, safety, and spirituality.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, in coordination with various relevant departments and authorities, prepared all services for worshipers and Umrah performers to facilitate their worship with ease and convenience. Over 4,000 male and female workers, supervised by 200 Saudi supervisors, worked around the clock to provide cleanliness services equipped with equipment and machinery, with 3,516 restrooms, 9,155 Zamzam water dispensers daily, and over 35,000 new carpets in all prayer areas and courtyards. Additionally, there were 3,000 manual carts and 2,000 electric carts, along with 6,000 cart pushers.
Many guests of the Merciful praised the development witnessed by the Grand Mosque through qualitative leaps in service systems and giant projects, comprehensive changes in all areas from facilitating water distribution, transportation systems, to electronic services, applications, and advanced smart technologies benefiting everyone. They prayed that Allah reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince for their service to the Two Holy Mosques and the guests of the Merciful.
