Lululemon's Yoga Event with Lana Nazer: Making Yoga Accessible and Fun in Saudi Arabia

Lululemon, a clothing company, held a "Yoga Flow with Live Music" event before International Yoga Day, led by Lana Nazer, founder of Karama Yoga, at Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah.
With over 1,000 signups, Nazer aimed to introduce yoga to the Saudi Arabian community, making it accessible and less intimidating.

Her signature class combined breathwork, meditation, and dynamic movements, demonstrating the fun side of yoga.

Nazer emphasized the importance of modernizing yoga teachings.

Lana Nazer, the founder and CEO of Karama Yoga, expressed her gratitude to Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Sports for promoting yoga and wellness in the country.

She noted an increasing interest in yoga and emphasized the importance of making it less intimidating for beginners while integrating modern living into teachings.

Nazer is confident that Saudi Arabia will become a hub for yoga in the future as more people adopt healthier practices, seek balance, and reduce stress.

Despite progress, she acknowledges that there is still a long way to go but remains optimistic.

The International Day of Yoga, celebrated on June 21, is a day to promote community, mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

It's a day to celebrate happiness, health, and mindfulness with loved ones.

Renowned yoga and meditation instructor Khaled Nahfawi led a guided meditation yoga journey using sound bowls and crystal balls.

The goal was to relax participants through yoga, meditation, and the therapeutic effects of sound.

Nahfawi shared that yoga has positively impacted his life and was happy to introduce it to others.

Nahfawi emphasized the significance of yoga and meditation for raising awareness, particularly among young people.

He highlighted the transformative impact of mindfulness practices on overall well-being and mental clarity.

Sarah Hamed, a yoga session attendee, described Nazer's approach as "truly transformative," making yoga accessible and enjoyable for beginners like herself, leaving her feeling rejuvenated and inspired to practice mindfulness daily.
