The 34th Saudi Build Exhibition is underway in Riyadh, with over 600 companies from 31 countries showcasing cutting-edge innovations in sustainable building materials and smart city solutions, all aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
Speaking of innovation, Chuck Yoo from Korea University, on the GAIN Podcast, emphasized the transformative potential of AI in education and power solutions, suggesting that while routine jobs may be disrupted, AI will pave the way for new opportunities, much like the industrial revolution did.
As technology transforms various sectors, Saudi Arabia and Iraq are also forging new paths in military cooperation, having recently signed an agreement in Riyadh to strengthen defense relations and address regional concerns.
Meanwhile, the Tourism Development Fund in Saudi Arabia is boosting small and medium enterprises in the tourism sector with its “Tourism Empowerment” initiative, providing innovative financing solutions to ensure sustainable growth.
Supporting the nation’s Vision 2030 initiatives further, the Ministry of Health has launched 'A Vibrant, Healthy Nation' campaign, aiming to elevate healthcare standards through integrated and preventative care to improve the quality of life.
Finally, aligning with these ambitious goals, the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has introduced the Sustainable Innovation Fellowship Program, focusing on green tech solutions such as the repurposing of by-products to enhance environmental sustainability in arid regions.
