Health Minister Discusses Pilgrims' Well-being at Hajj Conference
Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel highlights efforts to provide high-quality medical services for pilgrims during the fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition.
The Minister of Health, Fahad AlJalajel, took part in a ministerial session at the fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition on Tuesday.
He focused on the measures being taken to ensure that pilgrims receive top-notch medical care.
In alignment with Saudi Vision 2030's Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program, these initiatives aim to guarantee a secure and trouble-free pilgrimage for all participants.
During the session 'From Vision to Reality: Integrated Sectors in Serving Pilgrims,' AlJalajel discussed the numerous components of the health system that are dedicated to safeguarding pilgrims' well-being throughout their journey.
He underlined the importance of the 'health eligibility' requirement for obtaining Hajj visas, which is intended to verify that pilgrims are medically fit for the pilgrimage rites.
The use of advanced technologies such as spatial analytics and real-time data monitoring was also highlighted by AlJalajel to keep track of and protect pilgrims’ health.
Preventative measures include the regular updating of vaccination requirements, and addressing issues like high temperatures that could lead to heat stress among pilgrims were also mentioned by AlJalajel.
The government's objective is to ensure a safe and healthy Hajj experience for all attendees.
