Saudi Arabia to Host Second Human Capability Initiative Conference in Riyadh
The conference, part of Saudi Vision 2030, aims to enhance human capabilities and promote lifelong learning.
The Human Capability Development Program, an initiative under Saudi Vision 2030, has announced the program for the upcoming second Human Capability Initiative conference.
Scheduled to take place on April 13-14 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, the event will be held under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The conference theme is "Beyond Readiness."
The sessions will be organized around three core themes.
The first theme will focus on unlocking potential to develop human capabilities by utilizing advanced technologies to foster lifelong learning opportunities, support research and innovation, and enhance skills needed to adapt to global transformations.
The second theme emphasizes the importance of embedding core values and fostering a sense of belonging, which are essential for creating cohesive societies that can effectively collaborate to achieve development goals.
The third theme aims to drive efforts towards creating opportunities and promoting cross-sector partnerships that can amplify impact and develop sustainable solutions for a prosperous future.
The conference will feature over 300 speakers, including thought leaders, experts, and policymakers who will participate in 120 dialogue sessions.
The format will include five key platforms dedicated to distinct aspects of human capability development: the Beyond Future Readiness Arena, Human Capability Initiative Dialogues, L.A.B Stage, Mastery Stage, and Success Stage.
A significant focus of the conference discussions will be the role of human capabilities in catalyzing economic growth by exploring strategies that unlock potential and drive prosperity.
Additionally, the dialogue will address global equity and the development of inclusive opportunities through a balanced and comprehensive approach.
Sessions will also explore the impact of artificial intelligence on human capabilities, examining both the growth opportunities it may present and the necessity for sustainable solutions that are well-balanced.
CEO of the Human Capability Development Program, Anas Al-Mudaifer, stated that the conference serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and driving transformation and meaningful impact.
He noted that the broad array of topics covered reflects a commitment to thorough dialogue and a focus on enhancing investment in human capability development to prepare individuals for future challenges.
