Makkah Route Initiative Provides Assistance to 68,721 Hajj Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia
Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia have benefited from the Makkah Route initiative this season, with 68,721 individuals receiving assistance as of Wednesday.
The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with partners, has implemented the program as part of Saudi Vision 2030.
The initiative is now available in Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and for the first time in Turkiye and Ivory Coast.
The program aims to streamline travel procedures for Hajj pilgrims, including issuing visas electronically, verifying health requirements, and completing passport procedures.
The initiative has been successful in reducing wait times for pilgrims and enhancing their overall experience during the Hajj season.
