Anytime Fitness Signs Master Franchise Deal to Launch in Saudi Arabia
Health-club brand plans first Saudi location in spring 2026 and at least 60 more over six years, aligning with Vision 2030 fitness goals
Global fitness-franchise leader Anytime Fitness has announced a master-franchise agreement with Saudi group ABFit to bring the brand into Saudi Arabia, with the first club targeted to open in spring 2026 and at least 60 additional locations planned across the country in the following six years.
The deal marks a significant step in Anytime Fitness’s Middle-East expansion and aligns its growth agenda with Saudi Arabia’s national strategy to boost health, wellness and lifestyle infrastructure under its Vision 2030 programme.
Under the agreement, the rollout will include both women’s and men’s branches of the Anytime Fitness brand in various Saudi cities.
ABFit’s general manager, Raed Alarabi Alharthi, said the investment responds to the Kingdom’s focus on health and fitness as a component of national economic and social priorities.
Anytime Fitness’s global president, Stacy Anderson, described the agreement as a reflection of the company’s belief in double-digit growth for the global wellness economy—estimated to reach US $6.3 trillion over the next decade—and praised Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding access to fitness services for its communities.
The expansion into Saudi Arabia follows Anytime Fitness’s recent opening of its first UAE club and sits alongside other global growth moves.
The brand, which already serves millions of members across more than 5,200 clubs in 49 countries, intends to deliver personalised coaching, nutrition and recovery services to its Saudi members, integrated with its existing international network.
Industry watchers see the Saudi deal as timely: the Kingdom’s wellness sector is growing amid rising incomes, youth demographics and shifting lifestyle preferences.
A strong franchise growth pipeline offers Anytime Fitness the chance to secure first-mover advantage in what remains a developing yet high-potential regional market.
As the rollout begins in 2026, success will depend on local execution, member recruitment, retention and brand adaptation.
If the planned club network resonates with Saudi consumers, Anytime Fitness stands to become a major player in the country’s rapidly evolving health-and-wellness ecosystem.
