Nemetschek Arabia Signs Strategic MoU with Saudi Facility Management Association
Partnership aims to accelerate digital transformation and professional development in Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing facilities management sector
Nemetschek Arabia has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Facility Management Association in a move designed to advance digital transformation and strengthen professional standards across the Kingdom’s facilities management sector.
The agreement was formalised during a signing ceremony attended by senior representatives from both organisations, reflecting growing alignment between global technology providers and Saudi industry bodies under the country’s economic diversification agenda.
The partnership sets out a framework for cooperation in areas including knowledge exchange, training initiatives and the promotion of digital solutions tailored to the needs of the facilities management industry.
Nemetschek Arabia, part of the wider Nemetschek Group known for its software solutions in architecture, engineering and construction, aims to support Saudi Arabia’s push toward smart infrastructure and data-driven asset management.
The Saudi Facility Management Association, which represents professionals and companies operating across commercial, residential and public sector facilities, seeks to raise industry standards and expand local expertise.
Under the memorandum, both sides will explore joint workshops, technical seminars and certification programmes intended to equip professionals with advanced digital tools for building lifecycle management.
The collaboration also envisions supporting the adoption of building information modelling and integrated management platforms, aligning with broader national objectives to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability in large-scale developments.
Saudi Arabia’s facilities management market has expanded rapidly in recent years, driven by giga-projects, urban development and infrastructure investments associated with Vision 2030. Industry analysts estimate that the sector is poised for sustained growth as new commercial districts, tourism destinations and residential communities come online.
Digitalisation is increasingly viewed as central to optimising costs, improving energy performance and extending asset life cycles.
Officials involved in the agreement described the memorandum as a strategic step toward embedding international best practices within the local industry ecosystem.
By combining technological expertise with sector-specific representation, the initiative is expected to contribute to the professionalisation of facilities management services and reinforce Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a regional leader in smart infrastructure and sustainable urban development.
