Sheikh Mohammed of Kuwait Begins Official Visit to Saudi Arabia, Warmly Welcomed by High-Ranking Officials
Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, commenced an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, he was warmly welcomed by a number of high-ranking Saudi and Kuwaiti officials.
The Saudi delegation was led by Prince Saud bin Mishal, the deputy governor of Makkah, and Prince Sultan bin Saad, the Saudi ambassador to Kuwait.
Other senior Saudi officials were also present at the airport to receive Sheikh Mohammed.
Representing the Kuwaiti side were Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the Kingdom, and Mohammad Saud Al-Mutairi, the country’s consul general in Jeddah and its permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The Saudi Press Agency reported on the official welcome ceremony, while the Kuwait News Agency provided additional details on the attendees from the Kuwaiti delegation.
