Donald Trump Organization Unveils Championship Golf Course and Luxury Resort Project in Saudi Arabia

Trump brand to anchor a Trump International Golf Club, hotel and residences in Diriyah as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 development boom
The Trump Organization, in collaboration with Saudi developer Dar Al Arkan and its affiliate Dar Global, has unveiled plans to develop a major championship golf course and luxury resort complex in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant expansion of the Trump brand’s presence in the Gulf.

The project, named Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar, is being built on a 2.6 million square metre site in Wadi Safar, near Riyadh’s historic Diriyah district, and will include a Trump-branded championship golf course, a five-star Trump hotel and premium residential units set within a gated community.

This development represents the Trump Organization’s first entry into the Diriyah masterplan, one of the Kingdom’s flagship giga-projects under the Vision 2030 strategy to diversify the economy away from oil and attract foreign investment.

Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, Eric Trump, said the project will “redefine luxury and excellence in the region,” aiming to set global standards in hospitality and design that complement Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage and natural landscapes.

The golf club and luxury resort are part of a wider slate of Trump-branded developments in the Kingdom, and come alongside a mixed-use Trump Plaza project planned in Jeddah as part of a broader $10 billion suite of investments.

Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed al-Khateeb described the initiative as a milestone partnership that reflects momentum in elevating Saudi destinations to international standards and boosting the Kingdom’s appeal as a global tourism and investment hub.

The location in Wadi Safar places the Trump International Golf Club within the larger Diriyah development, which is designed to blend world-class amenities with cultural and environmental features, supporting Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to attract upscale real estate interest and international visitors.

The Trump branded project ties into Vision 2030’s objectives to grow luxury tourism, encourage high-end foreign property investment and broaden economic activity beyond the energy sector.

Construction is expected to progress over the coming years, with industry observers noting the course’s potential to attract elite sporting events and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s emergence on the global golf tourism map.
