Saudi Arabia Spotlights Culture at Milan's Artigiano in Fiera
Saudi Arabia is present at Artigiano in Fiera in Milan from December 2 to 10. The country's Ministry of Culture-curated pavilion features Saudi cultural and heritage highlights.
The Saudi pavilion, hosted by entities like the Saudi Heritage Commission and the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, will display traditional crafts and performances. Arabic poetry will be showcased via Italian-translated murals.
Artisans will present traditional crafts, while the Saudi Handicrafts Company will highlight prominent crafts. Furthermore, the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts will exhibit student artwork.
Culinary experts will give live demonstrations of Saudi dishes, and a traditional restaurant will offer local coffee and foods. Additionally, 13 traditional performing arts shows will be featured.
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Culture's strategy to engage in global cultural dialogues, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. It also aligns with the 2023 Year of Arabic Poetry, emphasizing cultural heritages like the intertwining of Arabic and Italian poetry.
