GCC Foreign Ministers to Convene Preparatory Meeting Before Leaders' Summit in Doha
GCC Foreign Ministers will convene in Doha this Sunday for a meeting in preparation for the upcoming 44th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit. The 158th ministerial meeting, announced by the GCC on Saturday, will be presided over by Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, with the country currently holding the presidency of the ministerial council.
According to GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi, the meeting aims to further prepare for the GCC Supreme Council's 44th session set for Tuesday in Doha, which will bring together Gulf leaders. The ministers will review progress on the implementation of previous summit decisions and examine reports and memoranda from various GCC committees. Discussions will also focus on GCC's strategic relations and dialogues with global entities and address pertinent regional and international issues.
