Egypt's President Inaugurates Defense Expo Featuring Cutting-Edge Technology
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the third Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2023) on Monday, where he toured the show and viewed a documentary on Egypt's military capabilities.
Over 400 companies from 46 nations are gathered at the event, hosted at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo from December 4-7, to present the most up-to-date military technology and hardware.
The biennial expo, unique to the Africa and Middle East region, features 22 national pavilions and aims to draw 35,000 attendees, including prominent military figures. It is Africa's largest defense event, where visitors can explore cutting-edge military technology for land, sea, and air defense, including Egypt's own manufactured weapons and international defense industry offerings.
