Saudi Minister Discusses Hajj Season Activities and Projects with Ministry Officials
Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh, the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, convened a meeting in Jeddah on Thursday to review the ministry's activities and projects in relation to the Hajj season.
The gathering was attended by the ministry's undersecretaries, the directors general of the Makkah region branch, the secretary-general for Islamic awareness in Hajj, Umrah, and visitation, and other officials.
During the meeting, the minister emphasized the significance of the ongoing projects and the progress made in preparing the ministry's facilities and services for the Hajj season.
These include the mosques at the holy sites, the central area in Makkah, and the activities offered by the ministry.
Moreover, Sheikh Al-Asheikh highlighted the importance of volunteering opportunities during this year's Hajj season and following up on special projects at the mosques and holy sites that cater to pilgrims.
By doing so, the ministry aims to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj experience for all those performing the pilgrimage.
