Saudi Finance Minister to Lead Delegation at IMF-World Bank Meetings: Discussing Global Economic Developments and Saudi Arabia's Three-Year Chairmanship
Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan will lead Saudi Arabia's delegation at the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington this week.
He will chair the first IMF meeting under Saudi Arabia's three-year chairmanship, discussing global economic developments, threats to global development, and the role of the IMF in providing financial assistance and advice to member states.
Al-Jadaan will also participate in the World Bank Development Committee meeting to discuss global development plans.
The text reports that Saudi Arabia's Finance Minister, Mohammed Al-Jadaan, will attend the second G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors under Brazil's presidency.
The meeting aims to discuss economic and development issues, as well as ways to boost international cooperation to address global economic challenges.
The Saudi delegation includes the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, the deputy chair of the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee, and the Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro Fiscal Policies and International Relations.
Additionally, the governor of the Saudi Central Bank, Ayman Al-Sayari, will also participate in the event.
