Saudi Fund for Development Meets with United Nations Development Coordination Office Delegation
Saudi Fund for Development's CEO, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, recently met with a delegation from the United Nations Development Coordination Office (DCO) at the organization's headquarters in Riyadh.
Barbara Manzi, the regional director for Arab states at the DCO, led the delegation, which included representatives from various international organizations.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the Saudi Fund for Development's (SFD) operations with international organizations and the role of the DCO in Arab countries.
The focus of the discussion was on ways to develop donor-beneficiary ties and enhance cooperation between the SFD and other international organizations.
As part of the meeting, Manzi was given a guided tour of a photo exhibition at the SFD headquarters that highlighted the organization's most significant development projects and programs in underdeveloped countries.
The SFD has been actively engaged in development projects and programs in over 88 countries since its operations began in 1975, implementing over 700 projects and programs aimed at improving the lives of people in these countries.
