Riyadh expresses solidarity with Islamabad after deadly violence targets civilians and security personnel in the restive province
Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned a series of terrorist attacks in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, reaffirming its firm opposition to violence and its solidarity with the Pakistani government and people.
In an official statement, Saudi authorities denounced the attacks as criminal acts that violate all moral and international norms, while extending condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a swift recovery to those injured.
The attacks, which struck security personnel and civilians, underscored ongoing security challenges in Balochistan, a strategically important region that has periodically faced militant violence.
Riyadh reiterated its support for Pakistan’s efforts to combat terrorism and maintain stability, emphasising that such acts threaten regional security and development.
Saudi officials also reaffirmed the Kingdom’s consistent stance against extremism in all its forms and its commitment to international cooperation in confronting terrorist organisations.
The condemnation reflects the close diplomatic and strategic ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, with both countries regularly coordinating on security issues and counterterrorism initiatives.
Islamabad welcomed expressions of support from international partners, highlighting the importance of global solidarity in addressing militant violence and protecting civilians.
