King Abdulaziz University Launches TechHub3 to Advance Digital Skills
The annual technology event aims to strengthen innovation and prepare students for the Kingdom’s digital economy.
King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah has launched its third TechHub3, an annual technology event focused on enhancing innovation and preparing students for the digital economy of the Kingdom.
Organized by the university's faculty of computing and information technology under the theme "Empowering the Future," the event is taking place from April 28 to April 29 at the Academic Square campus.
The program includes over 15 panel discussions, 19 workshops, and 11 technical sessions that cover topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, cloud computing, robotics, and digital transformation.
Sanaa Abdullah Sharaf, vice dean of the faculty, stated that the event supports efforts to align university outcomes with labor market demands and equip students with practical skills.
TechHub3 provides an interactive environment that combines academic knowledge with hands-on application, aiming to enhance graduates' readiness for careers in technology-driven fields.
In addition to panel discussions and workshops, the event features student project exhibitions, career guidance sessions, and competitions, including cybersecurity and programming challenges, aimed at fostering innovation among young participants.
The initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, expand training and employment pathways, and support emerging technology projects.
Previous editions of TechHub3 have attracted more than 7,500 visitors and showcased over 100 student innovations.
TechHub3 aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030 plan to accelerate digital transformation and develop national talent.
