Riyadh, April 28, 2026 - Mohammed bin Salman chaired a cabinet session in Jeddah on Tuesday, where ministers reviewed regional developments, progress under Saudi Vision 2030, and the outcomes of the recent Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) consultative summit.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that the Crown Prince briefed the cabinet on messages and discussions with several world leaders, including the presidents of Djibouti, Syria, Lebanon, Switzerland, and Ukraine, as well as senior officials from Japan, the Czech Republic, and Bangladesh.
The cabinet reiterated Saudi Arabia’s support for diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting regional and global peace and stability amid ongoing political and economic challenges.
Ministers also reviewed achievements under Saudi Vision 2030, noting that 93 percent of key performance indicators had met their annual targets.
This progress reflects reforms designed to diversify the economy, boost non-oil sectors, attract investment, and improve the quality of life.
The council stressed the importance of maintaining momentum in the initiative’s third phase and praised government agencies for advances in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
