Jeddah Mayor Saleh Al-Turki recently inaugurated the 'Bride of the Red Sea' exhibition, an initiative aimed at showcasing Jeddah's urban landscape through the lenses of Saudi photographers.
The exhibition features 25 photographs documenting sculptures and landmarks across Jeddah, selected from a total of 100 images for the first phase of the initiative.
Five photographers presented their distinctive artistic vision, capturing details of the city's visual identity.The exhibition is part of a larger series of showcases, with plans for traveling and permanent displays at various locations in the coming months.
This initiative aims to broaden public engagement and encourage greater interaction with the project.
The title 'Bride of the Red Sea' reflects Jeddah's historic identity and coastal beauty, emphasizing its reputation as a vibrant and evolving city.A dedicated webpage was also unveiled for the exhibition, featuring all participating images.
Each photograph includes detailed information about the sculpture, such as the artist, creation year, location, and photographer's name.
