Exclusive Interview: Mohammed Salem AL Ojaimi Discusses the Origins, Growth, and Sustainable Future of AL Ojaimi Industrial Group

The AL Ojaimi Industrial Group was founded in 1997 with the establishment of Ojaimi Switchgear, which focused on electrical panels and package substations.
This marked the beginning of the conglomerate's specialization in the electrical industrial field and laid the foundation for a diverse portfolio supporting infrastructure projects in industries, commercial, and residential sectors.

The group has experienced significant milestones in its expansion over the years.

In 2008, it entered the transformer industry with the acquisition of MATCO, focusing on high-quality package and unit substations and oil-immersed transformers.

In 2012, SWANCO was established, becoming a recognized supplier in the electrical power distribution sector, known for busbars and insulated wires.

The group continued expanding with the addition of ECB in 2016 and joint ventures like Saudi Taihan in 2017, positioning itself as a leader in joint and termination manufacturing in the MENA region.

The latest expansion occurred in 2023 with the establishment of Masarat United Cable Company, offering a comprehensive range of building wires, power cables, control cables, and single wires.

The Al Ojaimi Group has launched a transformer raw material factory, TransM, to align with Saudi Vision 2030 by localizing content and reducing reliance on imported materials.

In 2024, they introduced NEP, a premium Bus Bar Trunking System with various power solutions.

Additionally, they have entered into a joint venture with REPL, an Italian brand known for high-quality cable accessories, to enhance their product range and market reach.

The Al Ojaimi Group aims to continue expanding and improving their offerings in the power industry.

The AL Ojaimi Group is dedicated to innovation, quality, and expansion in the electrical industrial sector.

They aim to lead by enhancing products and expanding market presence locally and internationally, contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 by increasing local production and supporting sustainable practices.

The group is also committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship, implementing solar panels in their factories.

The text describes an initiative to integrate renewable energy solutions into manufacturing practices, reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainability.

This commitment to sustainable energy is a key part of the company's vision to create a greener industrial sector and contribute to a more sustainable future, setting an example in the region for environmentally responsible manufacturing.
