Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Hosts Reception for VIP Hajj Participants at Mina Palace
The Saudi Crown Prince, on behalf of the King, hosted a reception for VIP Hajj participants at Mina Palace.
The Crown Prince shook hands with several officials and religious figures, including the King of Malaysia and presidents of various countries.
The Crown Prince then delivered a speech, expressing his gratitude to the King and the people of Saudi Arabia for their efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques and providing comfort and safety for the pilgrims.
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, thanked the Crown Prince for his directives, including the implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, which has contributed to a record number of Umrah pilgrims.
The Crown Prince has also made efforts to simplify visa procedures and digitize services for pilgrims.
Work is also underway to renovate historical sites and enhance destinations.
Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hafiz Al-Nahawi praised the efforts made by authorities in Saudi Arabia to manage the Hajj season and serve the pilgrims, and appreciated the support of the Kingdom for the Muslim World League.
The Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites in Jordan, Mohammed Khalayleh, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Saudi government for their efforts in serving pilgrims during Hajj.
He also noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered the pillar of Islam due to its devotion to holy sites in Makkah and Madinah.
The luncheon was hosted by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and included senior Saudi officials.
