Riyadh: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa on Thursday, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

The crown prince welcomed the arrangements and measures announced by Al-Sharaa to contain recent events in Syria, emphasizing the Kingdom's confidence in the Syrian government's ability to maintain security and stability within the country.Prince Mohammed also praised Al-Sharaa's efforts in guiding Syria towards unity, national solidarity, and territorial integrity, while also reinforcing the importance of preventing sedition that could destabilize the nation.

He stressed that continued progress and prosperity are essential for the Syrian people, reaffirming Saudi Arabia's support for Syria and its rejection of actions aimed at undermining civil and social peace.Furthermore, the crown prince reiterated Saudi Arabia's firm stance in condemning Israeli attacks on Syrian territory and interference in its internal affairs.
