Saudi Arabia Advances Vision 2030 with Strategic Global Partnerships, Economic Initiatives, and Digital Innovations

Saudi Arabia Boosts Local Talent and Automation Amid East Asia Economic Tour
Saudi Industry Minister Bandar Al Khorayef, during his visit to Singapore, discussed enhancing cooperation in human resources development and automation with officials from the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, emphasizing a shift from expatriate labor to local talent and automation. This visit is part of Al Khorayef’s broader economic tour of East Asia, aiming to attract investments to Saudi Arabia's logistics and industrial sectors.

Meanwhile, back in Riyadh, the launch of the Family Guidance Strategy by Minister Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi during the 7th edition of the 2024 Family Forum aims to enhance social stability by 2030. The strategy includes initiatives like training and licensing practitioners to promote better family relations and societal stability, supporting Saudi Vision 2030.

On the financial technology front, Saudi Arabia is set to launch Samsung Pay in the fourth quarter of 2024 as part of its Financial Sector Development Program under Vision 2030. This move will bolster the digital payment ecosystem, promoting financial inclusion and reducing cash dependency.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia is strengthening its aviation ties at the Egypt International Airshow 2024, with General Authority of Civil Aviation President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej leading a delegation. The airshow, attracting over 300 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, aims to explore investment opportunities and foster commercial partnerships in the aviation sector.

On the education and skill development front, Tuwaiq Academy in Riyadh is set to launch over 160 global technical bootcamps and programs in Q4 2024, collaborating with tech giants like Apple, Meta, and Amazon. These initiatives are part of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to elevate national technical skills, offering professional certifications, and job opportunities, including the Kingdom's first technical diploma in game development and virtual reality.

Turning to international affairs, a BBC analysis reveals a disturbing trend in the West Bank where the number of illegal Israeli settlement outposts has surged to at least 196. These outposts, often leading to violence and land appropriation, are funded by organizations connected to the Israeli government, exacerbating tensions and adversely impacting Palestinian communities.
