Manga Productions Wins Saudi Media Forum Award for 'Future’s Folktales 2' Anime
The award highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering national identity through media content.
Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation, commonly known as Misk, has been awarded the Saudi Media Forum Award for its anime series 'Future’s Folktales 2.' This accolade recognizes the company's efforts in producing Saudi content that aims to reinforce national identity while appealing to a global audience.
The award, presented in the media communication activities category, comes in the wake of an extensive communication and media campaign that coincided with the series’ launch.
This initiative included three global premiere screenings of the series, with two held in Riyadh and one in Tokyo, thus reflecting the project's international reach.
In addition to the premiere events, the campaign involved a robust global public relations strategy that reportedly garnered coverage through 477 news articles across various outlets in the Arab world and Japan.
The digital aspect of the campaign was equally impressive, as it achieved over 151 million views across social media platforms.
Furthermore, strategic advertisement placements were made in major urban areas, notably in Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Eastern Province.
Manga Productions continues to play a significant role in shaping the Saudi entertainment landscape, underlining the broader initiatives aimed at promoting cultural heritage and narrative storytelling through modern media forms.
