Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa arrived in Riyadh on Sunday for his first foreign trip since assuming office.

During his visit, Al-Sharaa met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss matters concerning the security and stability of Syria.

On Monday, the president visited the headquarters of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh before traveling to Makkah, where he performed the Umrah pilgrimage.

The visit underscores ongoing diplomatic engagements between Syria and Saudi Arabia.
