Saudi Arabia's Presence at WEF 2024 in Davos: Spotlight on Vision 2030 and Global Economic Leadership
At the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, Saudi Arabia will prominently feature its Vision 2030 and ambitions for global economic leadership.
Under the theme "Rebuilding Trust," a prominent Saudi delegation, led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, will attend from January 15-19, including influential figures like US Ambassador Princess Reema Bint Bandar and Commerce Minister Dr. Majid Al Qasabi.
They aim to discuss global challenges and stress collaboration and innovation.
The forum will serve as a critical venue for international discourse, with Saudi Arabia emphasizing its successes under Vision 2030 in diversifying and developing its economy, along with progress in increasing economic attractiveness to investors.
As the global economy recovers post-pandemic, Saudi Arabia's previous achievements at WEF will bolster its influence—ranging from energy market stability to technological advancements like Aramco's "Industrial Lighthouse" recognition in 2019.
Moreover, Saudi Arabia will build on its track record of strategic collaborations, such as with the C4IR, and continue supporting youth and innovation through initiatives such as the Misk Global Forum.
The 2024 WEF will see Saudi Arabia offering its insights and solutions to critical global issues, with a focus on trustworthiness, climate action, economic stability, and tech progress.
