An Israeli strike in a crowded area of Gaza City results in at least three deaths, according to Palestinian health officials.
An Israeli strike on Friday killed at least three individuals in the Gaza Strip, as confirmed by Palestinian health officials.
The attack targeted a densely populated region within Gaza City, which is located near an area where local police are stationed for security purposes, guarding a bank.
According to both medics and eyewitnesses, this incident has led to significant casualties among the civilian population.
Additionally, the strike resulted in the deaths of two policemen, with another two sustaining injuries, as per a statement released by Gaza’s interior ministry on the same day.The Israeli military was approached for comment regarding the incident but did not provide an immediate response.
Despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect in October 2025, violence in the region has persisted, with Israel conducting nearly daily attacks against Palestinians.
Since the implementation of the ceasefire, at least 790 Palestinians have lost their lives, according to local medics, while Israel claims responsibility for the deaths of four of its soldiers as a result of militant activity.The ongoing conflict has had devastating consequences, with more than 72,000 Gazans killed since the war commenced in October 2023.
The majority of these casualties are civilians, as reported by Gaza health authorities.
Furthermore, Hamas' October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel resulted in the deaths of approximately 1,200 individuals, based on Israeli tallies.
