Israeli Military Orders Evacuation of Dozens of Towns in Southern Lebanon
Israel's military issued an urgent warning to residents of over a dozen towns and villages in southern Lebanon, urging them to evacuate northward immediately due to alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement with Israel by the Hezbollah militia.
On Tuesday, the Israeli military issued an urgent warning to residents of more than a dozen towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
The warning stated that the evacuation was necessary because of violations of the ceasefire agreement with Israel by the Hezbollah militia.
The military expansion strikes on Monday led to four deaths in Lebanon, despite the ongoing ceasefire.
In response, Israel targeted over 20 Hezbollah 'infrastructure sites' in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley and southern regions, including weapons storage facilities and rocket launch sites.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that direct talks with Israel aimed to end the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
He accused those who dragged Lebanon into the war of committing "treason," suggesting a criticism of the Iran-backed group responsible for several attacks on Israeli targets in south Lebanon on Monday.
