Saudi Arabia's "Spirit of Saudi" Pavilion Concludes Its Participation in the 2024 Umrah and Visit Forum, Wins Prestigious Award
The Saudi Tourism Authority recently wrapped up its impactful participation in the 2024 Umrah and Visit Forum, a three-day event hosted at the King Salman International Convention Center in Medina.
The "Spirit of Saudi" pavilion, representing the official identity of Saudi tourism, welcomed over 5,000 visitors and was honored with the "Outstanding Pavilion" award in the government sector category.
The "Spirit of Saudi" pavilion successfully highlighted Saudi Arabia's tourism products and activities designed to enrich the journey of Umrah pilgrims and visitors. It emphasized the sector's development, facilitated partner empowerment, stimulated partnerships, enhanced product and service offerings, and fostered dialogue and innovation. Visitors enjoyed interactive activities showcasing Saudi hospitality, cultural diversity, and the kingdom's natural and climatic variety.
The pavilion was graced with visits from royal dignitaries, including His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan, the Prince of Medina region, and Prince Saud bin Khalid, the Deputy Prince. They praised the pavilion for its unique interactive presentations that demonstrated the growth and development of the tourism sector. The pavilion attracted significant attention with its interactive Arabic calligraphy corner, Asiri heritage corner, a virtual photography booth with unique destinations, interactive screens for the Nusuk platform, interactive maps, and special events highlighting the Kingdom's offerings.
This participation comes at a time when obtaining visas to visit the Kingdom has become more accessible than ever. Saudi Arabia now offers a variety of visas including Umrah, tourism, transit, and visit visas for family and friends all of which allow performance of Umrah, visits, event attendance, and tourism throughout the Kingdom. Citizens of 63 countries can avail of electronic or on-arrival visas, in addition to residents of the United States, the United Kingdom, European Union countries, US, UK and Schengen visa holders, and Gulf Cooperation Council residents.
