Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The National Center for Environmental Compliance has concluded its environmental monitoring efforts for 2025 with a significant increase in laboratory analyses.
Throughout the year, the center conducted over 19,000 laboratory examinations as part of its ongoing commitment to safeguarding the environment and ensuring regulatory compliance. The comprehensive analysis program included the collection of 1,447 water and soil samples aimed at measuring pollutant concentrations, identifying various forms of contamination, and assessing their impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
By employing rigorous scientific methods, the center sought to detect pollution and violations of environmental laws swiftly and effectively.Sahar Shar, director general of environmental laboratories management at the center, emphasized the importance of these analyses in supporting decision-making processes related to addressing environmental breaches promptly.
