KSrelief Provides Medical Services to Fight Cholera in Yemen
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center offers aid to combat cholera, targeting severely affected areas.
ADEN: The Emergency Response Project for Cholera in Yemen, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), provided medical services to 5,909 beneficiaries in late March.
The project focuses on deploying medical teams at airports and border crossings, ensuring health facilities are well-supplied with essential treatment materials, and expanding the capacity of cholera treatment centers across Yemen.
Notably, only one suspected case was recorded within this timeframe.
In a separate effort, KSrelief recently distributed 400 food baskets to displaced individuals, those in need, and people with disabilities in Mali, benefiting approximately 2,400 people.
This distribution is part of the broader humanitarian assistance provided by the Kingdom to assist affected populations globally.
The weekend saw separatists launching their largest assault in Mali in nearly 15 years, targeting the junta and its Russian paramilitary allies.
This development adds context to KSrelief's efforts in providing humanitarian support amidst ongoing regional conflicts.
