Al-Qasabi announced the establishment of the council, which aims to enhance economic relations between the two countries.

The council was inaugurated in partnership with Malaysia's Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Zafrul Aziz.

The Saudi Arabian commerce minister, Majid Al-Qasabi, held a roundtable meeting in Malaysia with Malaysian officials, including the chairman of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority and the chairman of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corp. The discussions focused on enhancing business partnerships between the two countries.

Al-Qasabi also met with several Malaysian ministers, including those of entrepreneurship development, agriculture and food industry, and works.

Topics of discussion included cooperation in training, knowledge transfer, innovation, and sustainability, as well as reviewing Malaysia's experience in supporting small and medium-sized projects.
