A series of falconry activities to promote national heritage and strengthen Saudi Arabia's global position in the field.
The Saudi Falcons Club has unveiled its events calendar for 2026, showcasing several key activities focused on promoting national heritage and enhancing the Kingdom's reputation as a leading center for falconry worldwide.

The schedule commences with the International Falcon Breeders Auction, set to take place from August 5 to 25, where attendees will have access to elite breeders and both local and international falcon farms.

This event is expected to highlight the diversity of falcon breeds available globally.

Following the auction, the Saudi Falcons Club Auction will be held from October 1 to November 30, coinciding with the season when falcons are typically captured.

This initiative aims to encourage responsible capture practices in accordance with environmental and conservation principles.

Cultural and entertainment activities are also on the agenda.

The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition is scheduled at the club's headquarters in Malham, located north of Riyadh, from October 1 to 10.

This event encompasses a broad spectrum of themes including culture, tourism, and environmental preservation, offering attendees an immersive experience into the heritage and traditions surrounding falconry.

Another key event during this period is the Melwah race, which will run from October 4 to 9.

Competitors will showcase their skills and knowledge in falcon racing for prizes and titles, fostering a sense of community and healthy competition among falcon enthusiasts.

The season's grand finale is the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, taking place from November 17 to 30.

The event offers substantial prizes totaling SR38 million ($10 million), reflecting the significance that the Saudi Falcons Club places on preserving this national heritage.

The events calendar concludes with the Falcons Club Cup, set from December 21 to 28, providing a platform for further competitions and celebrations of falconry traditions.

Throughout these events, the Saudi Falcons Club aims not only to celebrate and promote the cultural significance of falconry but also to ensure sustainable practices in capturing and breeding these magnificent birds.

The detailed schedule reflects a commitment to fostering national pride while encouraging global recognition of Saudi Arabia's expertise in this unique field.
