Saudi Arabia's Sustainability Champion Program: 19 Leading Companies Collaborate to Foster Sustainable Growth and Combat Environmental Challenges
The Ministry of Economy and Planning in Saudi Arabia introduced the Sustainability Champion Program to boost institutional sustainability and promote the sustainability revolution in the country.
This initiative fosters collaborations between leading companies in vital sectors to develop sustainable economic growth paths and address environmental challenges as part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
Distinguished companies, or "Champions," will support other entities in enhancing their sustainability practices.
The program was launched with the attendance of senior leaders from 19 Sustainability Pioneers.
The Sustainability Champions Program is an initiative in Saudi Arabia aimed at creating a collaborative ecosystem and promoting sustainable business practices.
Nineteen companies have been selected as Sustainability Champions, who will commit to improving the sustainability practices of three other companies in the country.
The program aims to build local capabilities and provide tools for companies to enhance their sustainability reporting.

Saudi Arabia is taking the lead in sustainability with its Sustainability Champions program, which includes 19 major companies: Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, ACWA Power, SABIC, Ma’aden, Al Rajhi Bank, National Bank of Saudi Arabia, First Saudi Bank, Riyad Bank, STC, Mobily, Zain, Red Sea International, Roshan, National Housing Company, Almarai, Savola, Olayan Finance Company, and Al Sulaiman Group.
These companies are committed to contributing to a sustainable future and setting an example for other countries.
