Saudi Arabia's KACST Tech Bootcamp Aims to Transform Research into Market-Ready Ventures

The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, in partnership with the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, invites research teams to participate in a Deep Tech Commercialization Bootcamp.
Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in collaboration with the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority, has initiated registration for the Deep Tech Commercialization Bootcamp.

This program is specifically aimed at research teams across Saudi Arabia that possess prototypes or advanced technologies on the verge of commercialization.

Registration for the bootcamp will be open until April 29th, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Saturday.

The event is scheduled to take place at The Garage in Riyadh from May 3rd to May 5th.

Its primary objective is to support researchers and innovators by providing them with an environment conducive to innovation and equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to transform their projects into successful ventures ready for investment.

The bootcamp also aims to assist participants in addressing the challenges associated with commercializing deep technologies and channeling innovation towards supporting national development priorities.

This initiative is part of KACST's broader efforts to empower research teams and facilitate the transition of research-based innovations into economically viable products with significant market impact.

It aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting economic diversification and fostering the growth of deep tech enterprises.

Eligible research teams have been invited to register for the bootcamp, which will enhance their capabilities in areas such as market assessment, business model development, and technology transfer and licensing strategies.

Participants can register through [survey.kacst.gov.sa/survey?sId=DfmquLcL5JA=](https://survey.kacst.gov.sa/survey?sId=DfmquLcL5JA=).
