AQABA: Jordan’s King Abdullah II received Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa during a meeting in Aqaba, with both leaders focusing on bolstering their countries' relations and exploring avenues for increased collaboration.
The gathering included Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, underscoring the importance of maintaining strong ties between Jordan and Bahrain.King Abdullah reaffirmed his country’s unwavering support for Bahrain and its Gulf neighbors, stating that regional stability is intrinsically linked to the security of the Arab Gulf.
He also highlighted the necessity of amplifying international efforts to solidify the US-Iran ceasefire agreement, with a particular emphasis on ensuring that any peace deal safeguards the security of Arab nations.The discussions also shed light on the significance of Arab coordination in mitigating the economic repercussions stemming from recent regional tensions.
