Israel Launches New Military Surveillance Satellite into Space

Jerusalem – On Tuesday, Israel successfully launched its latest spy satellite, Ofek 19, into space from an undisclosed location.
The Defense Ministry confirmed the launch, stating that the satellite was constructed by the state-run Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
According to the ministry's announcement, Ofek 19 is a highly advanced observation satellite equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) capabilities, designed for enhanced monitoring and intelligence gathering purposes.
Once in orbit, the satellite will undergo a series of tests to evaluate its performance and ensure it meets the required standards.
This marks Israel's continuation of launching Ofek observation satellites since 1988.
