Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, embarked on field tours within Mina to evaluate the services provided to pilgrims as part of his oversight of Hajj arrangements.

The inspections encompassed both international and domestic pilgrim camps, focusing on accommodation facilities' readiness and operational services such as catering, cleaning, and maintenance.

Additionally, he assessed the plans for welcoming pilgrims and facilitating their movement within the holy sites to ensure a seamless Hajj experience.

During his visit, Al-Rabiah engaged with workers and field supervisors, receiving briefings on operational strategies and the coordination among relevant entities.

He emphasized the significance of having a well-prepared field operation that is efficient and integrated across the Hajj system to deliver high-quality services for pilgrims.

The minister participated in an operational drill at the sacrificial project in Mina, which aimed to enhance efficiency and preparedness for the upcoming season, according to reports from the Saudi Press Agency.

Al-Rabiah also met with Indonesian and Malaysian officials at their respective mission headquarters in Mina.

These meetings were part of a broader effort by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to monitor services within the holy sites and ensure full operational readiness, committing to providing pilgrims with the highest standards of care.

The discussions covered the conditions of pilgrims from each country, evaluated service readiness, and addressed any operational challenges, with the goal of finding swift solutions and strengthening coordination for a smooth pilgrimage experience.
