The Saudi National Bank and Mastercard Launch the Flexi Credit Card, A First in Saudi Arabia

For the first time in Saudi Arabia, an innovative installment program by Mastercard provides shoppers with the flexibility to convert their purchases into four installments without any fees or interest.
In collaboration with Mastercard, the Saudi National Bank has launched the Flexi credit card, marking a first in the Kingdom. This card allows customers to make purchases and pay in four installments without an annual fee or profit rate. This partnership represents the first launch of Mastercard's installment program with merchant participation in Saudi Arabia.

This new release stems from the Saudi National Bank's commitment to providing innovative and comprehensive payment solutions, in line with its strategic aspiration to become "the best bank for innovation." This is achieved through its partnership with Mastercard. The Flexi credit card is a virtual card available to all customer segments, offering a complete digital experience.

The Mastercard Flexi credit card offers its holders the feature of dividing all purchases into four monthly installments without interest, providing flexibility and convenience, special offers, and significant discounts at a range of brands, and a complete digital experience. Being a virtual card accessible through the AlAhli Mobile application eliminates the need for physical cards and allows customers to fulfill their various purchasing needs, granting them the freedom to shop for the products and services they desire locally.

The program offers secure installment payment experiences, both in-store and online, through Mastercard's extensive network. This enables merchants of all sizes to offer consumers more options easily from four-payment models to interest-bearing loans. The financial planning transparency provided by the program aligns with lending practices transparency, strong consumer protection, and high standards in consumer disclosure and data transparency.

Mr. Saud Bajbair, Head of Retail Banking Group at the Saudi National Bank, stated, "The Saudi National Bank holds a leading position in the credit card field, offering a wide range of products, including cashback services, loyalty program cards, embossed cards, and more. The bank is committed to introducing new and innovative products aligned with the Kingdom Vision 2030 programs and initiatives, particularly regarding credit card activities and promoting customer integration alongside sustainable growth."

He added, "Through this significant cooperation with this new launch, the Saudi National Bank and Mastercard present a unique product range in the Kingdom, demonstrating the bank's commitment to providing its customers with innovative credit opportunities."

Adam Jones, the Regional President for Mastercard in the Western Arabian region, said, "We aim to empower consumers across the Kingdom and the broader region by providing greater access to innovative offers that meet their needs and preferences. Through our cooperation with the Saudi National Bank, we can achieve these objectives, elevating shopping experiences for consumers through the Flexi card, offering them more convenience and options that align with their desires and preferences."

The launch of the new card represents a further step in the advanced services provided by the Saudi National Bank to its customers as part of its continuous efforts in developing programs and services that meet their financial needs.

Customers can easily acquire the card directly by applying through the AlAhli online banking website, the AlAhli Mobile application, or by visiting the nearest branch.
