CrowdStrike and Aramco Launch Strategic Cybersecurity MoU to Strengthen Saudi Digital Defence
Memorandum of Understanding sets stage for long-term collaboration on AI-powered cybersecurity and national cyber resilience under Vision 2030
CrowdStrike has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Aramco to advance cybersecurity capabilities across the kingdom, marking a significant step in Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation agenda.
The partnership aims to explore long-term investments in a unified, AI-driven national security model to protect critical infrastructure and digital assets as the kingdom accelerates its economic diversification and secure technology integration.
Under the MoU, the companies will work together on initiatives to enhance cyber threat intelligence sharing, build world-class security standards tailored to the Saudi market, and support innovation in secure digital systems.
Discussions include deploying CrowdStrike’s cloud-native Falcon platform to underpin a unified defence approach across operational technology, enterprise systems, and critical infrastructure that supports both Aramco and wider national requirements.
CrowdStrike’s CEO George Kurtz emphasised the importance of the collaboration in safeguarding one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies and advancing secure artificial intelligence adoption.
Aramco’s leadership described the agreement as a first step toward reinforcing the kingdom’s cybersecurity posture, developing local skills, and inspiring a generation of cyber professionals aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
Plans under the MoU also include exploring the establishment of CrowdStrike’s regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, in-country cloud capability deployments, and sustained workforce development programmes.
These measures are intended to support national resilience, enhance economic growth, and set new standards for cyber defence in the region while protecting critical systems across industries and sectors.
