Savvy Games Group Partners with HUMAIN to Integrate AI Across Operations

Agreement allows Savvy access to HUMAIN's cloud-based data centers and computing infrastructure.
Riyadh: Savvy Games Group, a prominent player in the gaming industry, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HUMAIN, a Saudi-owned artificial intelligence company.

This partnership aims to integrate AI systems within Savvy's operations, marking a significant step towards enhanced efficiency and innovation within the gaming group. The MoU signed this week establishes a collaborative framework for both companies to explore the development of customized AI models tailored to the gaming sector.

By gaining access to HUMAIN's cloud-based data centers and computing infrastructure, Savvy positions itself to leverage advanced technology capabilities.

This partnership is seen as a strategic move that fosters technology sharing and capability enhancement between two firms owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).Brian Ward, CEO of Savvy Games Group, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "We are looking forward to working with HUMAIN to identify and unlock ways that would enhance the way we utilize AI at Savvy".

This sentiment reflects a shared vision for integrating AI into all aspects of Savvy's operations.HUMAIN, which recently launched its agentic AI operating system called HUMAIN ONE, sees this partnership as an opportunity to expand AI applications in gaming.

The company believes that AI can significantly influence productivity and creative output within the gaming industry, currently entering a phase where such technologies are most impactful.Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, noted, "Game development is one of the most exciting fields where effective use of AI solutions can make a tangible impact on boosting both creativity and productivity".

This statement underscores HUMAIN's commitment to transforming the gaming sector through innovative technological solutions.Savvy Games Group has been instrumental in Saudi Arabia’s efforts to establish itself as a global gaming hub.

Backed by PIF's substantial investment mandate, Savvy has primarily focused on strategic investments and industry consolidation.

However, this MoU indicates a shift towards internal development of AI capabilities, reflecting the maturation of the domestic gaming market.HUMAIN plays a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia’s sovereign AI stack, offering services including data centers, model training, and sector-specific AI solutions to both government and private sector clients.

Its emphasis on developing Arabic-trained large language models and localized technologies aligns with national digital priorities, such as technology localization and talent development. The partnership between Savvy Games Group and HUMAIN also reflects broader strategic initiatives within PIF to ensure interoperability across its portfolio companies, especially in digital infrastructure and emerging technologies.

This approach supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital economy agenda, which emphasizes unified technical standards and shared platforms. While no financial details or project timelines were disclosed, both parties confirmed that joint research and development (R&D) initiatives are part of the agreement's scope.

These efforts include experimenting with new AI-driven tools for future gaming projects. If successfully executed, this partnership could position Savvy Games Group as a leader in regional gaming by operationalizing AI beyond traditional uses such as content recommendation and analytics.

Instead, it would focus on more advanced applications like automated workflows, talent systems, and the generation of creative assets.
