Saudi Non-Oil Exports Increase by 15% in February to $8.27Bn

The value of re-exported goods also sees a significant rise, driven by an increase in machinery and electrical equipment.
According to the General Authority for Statistics, Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports rose to SR31.03 billion ($8.27bn) in February 2026, marking a 15.1% increase compared to the same month in 2025.

The UAE topped the list as the primary destination for these products, receiving goods worth SR9.81 billion.

India followed closely with imports valued at SR2.25 billion, and China at SR2.17 billion, while Turkiye imported goods worth SR1.13 billion.

This growth in non-oil exports aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives aimed at diversifying the economy and reducing dependence on oil revenues.

The increase is particularly noted in re-exports, which saw a rise of 28.5%, largely driven by increased sales of machinery, electrical equipment, and parts.

Merchandise exports saw an overall increase of 4.7% in February compared to the same period last year, with oil exports growing by 0.6%.

Consequently, the proportion of oil exports within total exports decreased from 71.5% in February 2025 to 68.7% in February 2026.

On the import side, there was a 6.6% increase compared to the same month last year, and the merchandise trade surplus slightly declined by 1%.

China remained the top export destination, accounting for 13.7% of total exports, followed by the UAE at 12.1% and Japan at 9.3%, while it also topped the list as the source of Saudi Arabia's imports, making up 29.8% of total imports.

Among Saudi ports, King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam saw the highest volume of imported goods, accounting for 24.6% of total imports, followed by Jeddah Islamic Seaport at 18.4% and King Abdulaziz International Airport at 16.2%.

For non-oil exports, King Abdulaziz International Airport was the primary outlet in February 2026, representing 18.9% of total non-oil exports, with Jeddah Islamic Port accounting for 12.8% and King Fahad Industrial Seaport in Jubail for 10.6%.
