Saudi Foreign Minister Meets Sri Lankan Counterpart in Riyadh
The two ministers discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international issues.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met with Vijitha Herath, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Overseas Employment, and Tourism of Sri Lanka, in Riyadh on Sunday.
The meeting aimed at reviewing the relations between their countries and addressing regional and international issues of mutual interest.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, during the discussion, Prince Faisal presented Herath with a commemorative postage stamp marking 50 years of diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.
Majid bin Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, Director of the South Asia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also attended the meeting.
