Riyadh: Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met with Indian Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Riyadh on Sunday.
The discussion centered on bolstering cultural ties between the two nations.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 26th session of the United Nations World Tourism Organization General Assembly.
This international event provided a platform for ministers to explore opportunities for expanding cultural cooperation across multiple sectors.
During the assembly, Shekhawat engaged in bilateral talks with tourism ministers from Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and South Africa.
In an X post following the discussions, he highlighted India's ongoing efforts to enhance tourism collaborations and forge cultural partnerships globally.
Shekhawat also participated in a dinner hosted by Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb for delegates attending the UN event.
The Indian minister expressed gratitude for the hospitality provided and emphasized his appreciation for the productive dialogues on promoting international tourism cooperation.
