Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - In a gesture acknowledging the efforts to bolster bilateral ties, Saudi Arabia's Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, awarded Pakistan’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, with the King Abdulaziz Medal of the Excellent Class on Saturday.
The presentation took place in Riyadh during a meeting between the two military leaders, in accordance with a royal directive from King Salman.
The medal serves as an official recognition of General Mirza's contributions to fostering friendship and enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
